As a unique nature and landscape site, the Wymiarki Forest District is an attractive place for tourism and recreation for many Poles.

Every year our forests are visited by enthusiasts of mushroom and berry picking and of many other riches found there.

The vicinity of Lusatian Neisse River (Nysa Łużycka) on the border allows for fishing, as well as for kayaking and rafting trips. The attractions are attended not only by Poles but also by other EU citizens. Agritouristic farms offer rides on horseback, kayaking and pedal boat rental.

Six marked cycling trails run through the Forest District. They create the so called "Korona Wymiarek" (the Crown of Wymiarki).

In the north-eastern part of the Forest District one can admire the beauty of "Łuk Mużakowa" (The Muskau Arc). The 15th meridian runs through the Forest District. This is marked by a granite plaque placed in the Spalone Forest Rangers Area, in sub-district Wymiarki.

What is more, Forest District Wymiarki makes its forest routes available for organisation of mass events such as off-road motorbike and car rally.

From the objects of material culture, one should see parish and filial churches in Bogumiłów, Lipna, Piotrów and Witoszyn Dolny Of particular note are: medieval filial church in Lutynka, built of stone probably in the XIII century, as well as the ruins of monastery in Straszów and „Wieża Głodowa" (Hunger Tower) in Przewóz.
